Tila wanted a site with all the basic functionality of her existing MySpace page. She made a strategic alliance with Buzznet, and I was brought in as the designer.

As designer, my task was to create a highly interactive site that kept with the look and feel of Tila’s MySpace page. Her team provided a rough style guide, along with Tila’s logo and a few pieces of art (curtains and lace). At my request, we were granted permission to use a photo of Tila by the amazing Randall Slavin.

The initial wireframe I received from my Buzznet teammates was architected to give top priority to messaging and advertising. With a few modifications, we settled on a modular layout that would give maximum flexibility and allow Tila’s team to reorganize and re-prioritize elements on the site based on changing needs. My main page design was then used as the basis from which developers designed the rest of Tila’s site.
